Sriram Katipamula
Post Doctoral researcher
Sriram was born in Richland, Washington, USA and earned his B.S. in Chemistry & Biochemistry from the University of Washington. As an undergraduate, he worked under the guidance of Dr. Wendy Shaw at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where his research focused on developing bio-inspired catalysts for carbon dioxide hydrogenation.
He then moved across the country and completed his Ph.D. from Rutgers University under the guidance of Prof. Kate Waldie. His doctoral research focused developing molecular electrocatalysts for fuel oxidation reactions.
Following an internship at AbbVie where he worked on synthetic organic methodology, he joined the SolHyCat lab in Fall 2024 where he will be working on the immobilization DuBois-type complexes onto electrode surfaces.
